I Finished!

I finished the shawl and shawl pin and slippers!

The shawl was really easy to make. It worked on the shawl whenever I sat down to watch TV or when I had some free time. I did a single crochet border on the top and a shell border on the two sides.

I made a shawl pin following this tutorial and it is VERY easy.

And a pair of matching slippers.

I used the pattern from crochet today, an older issue. I have made four pairs of slippers from this book since I got it. One for my mom, one for my grandma (on my dads side), one for my other grandma who passed away from cancer and now this one for my great aunt. It is a really easy pattern to follow and quick to make.

This will be sent to my aunt when my mom finishes the quilt. I hope she likes it. If You didn't hear she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will have both her breasts removed. Please pray for her.

  1. Beautiful!!! Hugs to you and your aunt, so sorry for the news. My grandmother had this surgery for one breast a few years ago and has recovered remarkably! I pray the same for your aunt!

  2. prayers for your aunt what a nice job

  3. Oh, there all very pretty! Nice job - very even stitches!
