So I made these Barbie clothes inspired by THIS blog, THESE are the tutorials.
This was a very simple one I cut a top piece the size of the dolls chest then cut another piece and gathered it and fit it onto the top piece then cut straps sewed that on then sewed on a snap and I was done.
I did this dress the same as the shirt except made it a halter and I put velcro on he back
And this is a simple elastic skirt.

Stuffed Bomb
I wanted to post a tutorial on how to make a stuffed bomb, so here it is.
You will need:
-black fabric (any fabric will do)
-white yarn
-paper (if you have thin yarn)
-red felt
-sewing notions
assemble the main part the same way as THIS angry bird except don't make the face or feathers.
This is what it should look like:
Next cut out one circle. I used a spool for the circle. then follow THIS tutorial and make the snout with no nostrils.
Now for the top thingy. Cut a piece of yarn double the size you want it to be and thread it through the thing you just made if that makes any sense.
Now cut some pieces from red felt for the fire part.
Now sew it on to the yarn you attached earlier. if you want you can twist the yarn and sew that in place.
Now if you like the way your top part looks you can skip this step but mine was droopy so this is what I did.
Cut a piece or two of paper and tape it to the yarn and bend it a bit.
Now stuff the top part and sew it onto the main part.
The finished project.
Hope you liked this tutorial (if it made any sense to you).
**If you made this I'd love to see yours send me your pictures at adeelarose@gmail.com**

A Slight Addiction
Okay so over at THIS blog there is a tutorial on how to make angry birds. Here are my birds
I of course had to add a bomb because so many iPod/iPhone games have bombs in them. Since I took these pictures I've made another yellow one and another blue one. They are really fun and addictive to make.
WARNING: These are addictive to make!

Blooming Pillow
I have been very lazy lately, sorry. On Thursday I finished this pillow (it turned sideways sorry).
The flowers from left to right: rose, daisy from a book, blue flower I made up, purple flower from a magazine, blue flower from a book.
This butterfly I got from this magazine.
For the sun I made a circle and sewed it on with rays.
Heres where I got my idea from.
Oh and when I said magazine I meant the crochet today magazine subscribe here.

Coin Purse
So today i made a little wallet for my all my change because the zipper pocket in my wallet is not big enough. It matches my purse I made yesterday. SO CUTE!!
For my first time sewing a zipper on, I think I did pretty well. I made the inside the same color as the inside of my purse. (I had money in it when I took the pictures, thats what that stuff is).

I made a little zipper pull for it too.
I followed the instructions from this book put made my own measurements.
This is the picture of the little zipper pocket from the book.
A picture of my purse and wallet together. AWESOME!!
Oh and HERES a different version of the coin purse.

The Past Week
For the past week I have made two things. First thing is this shirt refashion, the shirt had some stains on it so I wanted to cover it up with some ruffles.
For the ruffles I sewed a running stitch down the center and gathered it then sewed it on the shirt with my sewing machine.
The bottom of the shirt was too tight so I sewed a triangle on each side, two layers because the fabric is see through.
I forgot to take a picture of the shirt before I put on the ruffles but I do have a shirt that looks like it. It turned sideways for some reason.
My second project is this purse. My purse had a hole on the bottom of it so I decided to make a new one (more like I had to).
I LOVE this fabric my mom made me an apron from the same fabric except in pink.( That red spot is my knee, sorry).
For the lining I used this matching purple fabric, SO CUTE!!
I followed the pattern from 'one yard wonders' and it turned out great. I changed it a bit, I made it smaller, I didn't use ribbon for the strap and I didn't scrunch the bottom of the bag with an elastic. this is the picture from the book.
One more picture because I LOVE THIS BAG!!
