I made a second purse the same way I made the first except bigger. It is too late right now to take pictures (they look horrible) I'll show you them tomorrow along with pictures of a wallet I made for my brother. I made the wallet almost exactly the same as in THIS tutorial. I found this tutorial after I made the wallet.
I will also show you the progress I am making on my shawl. I am making another one using scraps of pink yarn and I am doing the shell stitch.
Today I went to an origami class and I learned so much stuff. They sent everyone home with origami paper which I will put to good use.
I also went to yoga today to make up for a class that I missed because I was sick. Did I tell you that I am in yoga? I thought I did, I go every Wednesday from 4:00 - 5:00.
I also got some books while I was at the library for the origami class. One of them is on how to make fabric flowers (THIS BOOK). I'll show you pictures of my flower (s) tomorrow.
Here are some links to keep you busy until my post tomorrow.

Here You Go, Finally
My grandma went through a five hour surgery yesterday to put metal sticks in her legs. She will, thank God, have a full recovery though it will take time. She will be going to a rehabilitation center and will start physiotherapy. She got the shawl and loves it and really appreciates it.
I finally got around to posting my DS case and my lounge pants.
I used four napkins that I got from a thrift store for $1. I used ties to close it and I made the ties myself.
Here it is unrolled or unfolded. Yes My DS is pink I love it. I used fleece on the inside instead of batting.
The elastic was a bit short so I added little tabs on each side to it.
For the DS games I made a pocket with Velcro and for the charger I made a pocket with two snaps.
Here are the lounge pants I made. I used the pattern from this book.
I used a double fold seam on the bottom.
I made my own tag using fleece because I was constantly mixing up the front and back.
I sewed at all the seams so that the elastic wouldn't twist.

Pink Shawl
I finally finished this shawl.
I love it!
This morning My dad got call from my uncle and told my dad that My grandma broke both her legs while getting of a bus where there was construction and ice. My dad got a flight There today and he is on the plane right now.
When he was packing I decided to give her my shawl so he packed that.
I did a chain one, double crochet in next chain space pattern with an increase at the beginning of each row.
With a shell edging.
The top I just left with a single crochet edge. And the edging yarn is not itchy its soft and fuzzy.
And a good book for shawls is THIS book.

A Baby toy And A wallhanging
This is my first try quilting and turned out awesome. It's a wall hanging. I used THIS tutorial from Whipup.net and it is so easy.
And I made this little goofball and matching playmat. Instead of using the pattern piece for the goofball I used the pattern piece for the blue bird and I added a handle.
Also My stuffed bomb tutorial was featured on obsessively stitching and craftgossip.

Barbie Clothes
So I made these Barbie clothes inspired by THIS blog, THESE are the tutorials.
This was a very simple one I cut a top piece the size of the dolls chest then cut another piece and gathered it and fit it onto the top piece then cut straps sewed that on then sewed on a snap and I was done.
I did this dress the same as the shirt except made it a halter and I put velcro on he back
And this is a simple elastic skirt.

Stuffed Bomb
I wanted to post a tutorial on how to make a stuffed bomb, so here it is.
You will need:
-black fabric (any fabric will do)
-white yarn
-paper (if you have thin yarn)
-red felt
-sewing notions
assemble the main part the same way as THIS angry bird except don't make the face or feathers.
This is what it should look like:
Next cut out one circle. I used a spool for the circle. then follow THIS tutorial and make the snout with no nostrils.
Now for the top thingy. Cut a piece of yarn double the size you want it to be and thread it through the thing you just made if that makes any sense.
Now cut some pieces from red felt for the fire part.
Now sew it on to the yarn you attached earlier. if you want you can twist the yarn and sew that in place.
Now if you like the way your top part looks you can skip this step but mine was droopy so this is what I did.
Cut a piece or two of paper and tape it to the yarn and bend it a bit.
Now stuff the top part and sew it onto the main part.
The finished project.
Hope you liked this tutorial (if it made any sense to you).
**If you made this I'd love to see yours send me your pictures at adeelarose@gmail.com**

A Slight Addiction
Okay so over at THIS blog there is a tutorial on how to make angry birds. Here are my birds
I of course had to add a bomb because so many iPod/iPhone games have bombs in them. Since I took these pictures I've made another yellow one and another blue one. They are really fun and addictive to make.
WARNING: These are addictive to make!
